A gmless, diceless game for 3-6 players using the belonging outside belonging system. You will need to know the rules detailed in Chapter 1: Playing the Dream found in the full rulebook to get the most out of this play kit.
Based on the Touhou series by ZUN, Next Dream lets you create and play your own stories in its world. Play as one of the colorful and eccentric denizens of Gensokyo as well as its undergirding social, metaphysical, and narrative pressures. Plot festivals and crash incidents; delve into the arcane and mingle with the divine; fill the skies with your own histories, emotions, and desires as written in the language of magical artillery.
Maybe even fall in love while you're at it!

One thing tho- You mentioned needing to read a chapter out of the core rulebook, but I can't seem to find that anywhere!

yes! if you follow the link to belonging outside belonging, you can pick up the rulebook in physical and/or pdf form at the storefront there. assuming you're looking at the pdfs, you want "Dream Apart Dream Askew Singles" (or Spreads if you like looking at it two pages at a time), and it'll be chapter 1 from there. the play kits are mostly self-contained but the full rulebook has space for nuances, suggestions, teaching advice, and examples of play.

an incredibly slick belonging outside belonging game! the love for touhou shows through in how much care and detail has been put into every step of this game. it's also got some great mechanical elements you might not expect to find in what initially appears to be a relatively standard hack, like the addition of clocks and firebrands inspired duels. pick this one up!!
